Before opening successfully in 2016 on Brooklyn’s Smith Street, Welsh brothers Illtyd and Dominic Barrett had been on a long search for a suitable location for their Welsh-inspired neighborhood bar with excellent food. HPI worked with them on location assessments for approximately two years—once being called “dream-killers” for another thumbs down on a location we deemed financially unviable for their project.
Once the right location was found, our team provided opening support through road-mapping and schedule advisory, project guidance, concept positioning and marketing.
